Equestrian ground work
Below are some of our project for equestrian customers. For more info use the contact page for a quick discussion.
Before
Equestrian Headland Strip
Our client asked us to create a soil strip around the boundary of a field to allow the horses to have freedom without eating grass.
Stage 1
Rotavating
We started this project by rotavating the over grown uneven grass field multiple time to break down the grass and soil into manageable size
Stage 2
Power harrowing
After the rotavator has made multiple passes we then used a power harrow to help fill in the uneven ground left by the rotavator. The power harrow leaves a smooth finish when used with the packer roller
Stage 3
Rolling / Compacting
We used a roller to firm the top layer of the soil. This will give the horses a stronger footing when they are out in the area. We don't roll the field too much as we still want water to permeate through the ground
