Grounds Maintenance Pricing

Our prices take into account our insurance costs, labour, machinery upkeep and machinery payments. Included is diesel costs so theres no hidden costs. No VAT to add

Flail Mowing - £55 per hour - tall grass 3ft and above we can cut around 1 acre in 3 hours

Hedge Cutting - £60 per hour - it's difficult to base a price on how much we can do in an hour

Rotavating - £45 per hour - depending on how many passes are required roughly 1 acre in 3 hours

Spraying - £85 per acre - we tend to base this on a per acre format the rate of spray will be the same. Customer to supply the water and chemicals

Commercial mowing - £55 per hour - We can do an acre in an hour of short grass

Seeding/Harrowing - £45 per hour - We'd like to achieve 1 acre an hour

Travel costs - £2 per mile of travel - a job 10 miles away from WR13 will cost £40 in travel costs. Much the same as a call out charge for repairs. To work the travel cost out yourself, just put Malvern Retail Park then your address and times the milage by 4

Example

2 acres of flail mowing thick grass over 3 ft tall, 15 miles away from Malvern Retail Park

Break down

2 acres of flailing - £55 x 6 (6 hours to do the job) = £330

15 miles of travel - 15 miles x 4 (£2 per mile, both ways = 4) = £60
