What we can offer

​

- Flail Mowing

A flail mower is used where the grass is very thick and helps to mulch it down. The rear roller on the mower will help to press the grass into the ground to enable it to degrade quickly.

- Hedge Cutting

We have a compact hedge cutter with a flail mower style head on it. This is great for cutting more mixed species hedges like agricultural hedges. This is great for getting through thicker pieces of wood or bush. It isn't great for Ornamental style hedges as it can be too aggressive.

- Spraying 

Using a 6m boom sprayer we are able to spray fields, or paddocks accurately. It has a 400L tank and different nozzles depending on the application. We hold the City and Guilds spray tickets (PA1 and PA2). We can recommend where to buy the chemicals from, however we can't give advise on what chemicals to use.

- Rotovating 

We have a 5ft wide rotator for our compact tractors, it is great as creating a level finish, breaking down the soil ready for new grass seeds.

Harrowing/Seeding 

- Grass seeding is always difficult to spread evenly. We have a 1.8m wide spring harrow combined with a seed spreader, this allows us to create a small amount of tilth to help the seeds germinate.

- Rolling 

With our 5ft rollers we can level ground off, smooth out the bumps within fields or even roll after re seeding to help create better soil to seed contact. 

​

- Commercial Lawn Mowing 

For larger areas we have a large diesel lawn mower with a collector system. We can cut the grass down and collect it. This is suitable for large parks or lawns where a neat finish is needed
